Ryan Spink and his Speeches

Ryan's interest are so far and wide that the smallest hint or clue can transform in a highly complex math problem. To top it off you'll end up with two teams trying to one up the others. Lucky for us we got a cage =P LoL. We're going to receive a whole lot of backlash when he finds that we posted this online =)

Muay Thai Next to Hesperia

Our school is Borderline Victorville and Hesperia. If you're in any of these two cities Cobra Kai is the gym to go. Ray's running the 5 o'clock Muay Thai for our teens. He puts a ton of emphasis on proper form. We can't wait to have our teens showcase their talent in the near future

High Desert Jiu Jitsu

John is getting his run on in preparation for his upcoming fight. He will be making his debut at Storm Cage Fights Saturday Nov 5, 2011. He's not happy about them mispelling his name. I'd surely hate to be his opponent right about now.

These guys just finished up going over bag drills for jiu jitsu. Coach Cisco is preparing for Worlds and is helping Frank elevate his game by showing him drills that most overlook.
Why are Bag Drills important for Jiu Jitsu and Grappling?
Coach Cisco says balance, movement, control, positioning for submissions, and fluidity are all factors that can be improved by practicing on the bag.

Grappling Fridays at Cobra Kai

We had a pretty big turn out for a Friday. Not only did everyone take class, but everyone is sticking around for the optional 30 minutes of rolling.
We had 3 newcomers. They joined Cobra Kai this week and they're hanging in. We're glad to see our programs continue to grow.

Coach Ciscos Jiu Jitsu Class

Coach Cisco's Jiu Jitsu at 5:00 PM houses our 12-15 year olds. It is also home to our advanced students with yellow and orange belts.

Jamie is finishing up on her Womens Kickboxing Class at 4:00 PM. Class is held from 4:00 to 5:00 Monday through Thursday.

Upstanding Cobra Kai Members

We're proud to present and display our member Antonio Marcial participate in the 4th Annual Believe Walk.  The walk raises money to help find a cure for cancer while also helping patients and their families with every-day expenses.  It's members like these that create such a great environment at our gym.  The event raised $380,000.  Keep up the good work!
